But the basil rate is one that has been confusing me quite a bit i had a temp rate and too i started to bolus for everything i was eating. Ive called my dr numerous times and im slowly getting the hang of it so much easier when ive seen other on it think ah that must be so easy but it's not. It's possible that your basal rate isn't fine tuned yet. Did your CDE calculate your insulin sensitivity factor? What type of Insulin are you using in your pump. It's normal to feel kind of rotten initially. If you've been DM for a long time, it's going to take a bit of persistence on your part until you adjust to a new routine.....Just hang in there.
