Carbohydrate Calculator
Does anyone know where I can find a pocket carbohydrate calculator? I
will be going on the pump next week and with all the information I am
getting it sounds like I need a calculator.
Thank you

I had bought one but it drained the batteries so fast it was not worth it.
probably the best method is checking the cans that you are eating and
measuring till you get more comfortable with doing carb counting. lilly also
offers a free hand book called life in the Fast lane which is a guide to
fast food places.

Hi Lorne: welcome, and stop worrying. It doesn’t have to be a complicated
as all that. Remember the good, "old" diabetic diet sheet? with all the
food lists and portion sizes?
same difference. Lilly has the daily caloric intake sheets.
Just use it as a guide. Most of the foods listed have the average CHO
content by serving size. Use it as a guide. After a couple of weeks, it
will be a snap….Joan:)
