<description>I have NO idea why the message I sent didn't come through other than a
T-storm is rolling through above the library. My message was to have
your thyroid checked (TSH, T-3, T-4). A verrrrry common problem with
DMers. (~_^)

		<description>Keith,

I hope your experience is as good as mine has been. It took a bit to get a mask
that fit but I am now there. I have energy again and am safe driving and with a
146 mile commute that is important!! (round trip)

Keith,

Have you been given a CPAP? It has really changed my life. I can't believe
how bad I was feeling without knowing it.
Catie

My Endo just set me up for a sleep study and from the prelim visit I have
all the symptoms.

&lt;!--more--&gt;
1) trouble sleeping
2) choking during sleep
3) unrested feeling after waking
4) feeling that you need frequent naps
5) extreme grouchiness

Sleep apnia WILL affect your glucose levels and make control much harder.
If you have any of these symptoms discuss it with your doc. Keep in mind that
this is not a complete symptom list but that they are the symptoms that I have.

I have been meaning to give a reminder to the list. If you are having
some
problems that don't seem to fit into our regular test look into sleep
apnea.
If you have headaches, find yourself falling asleep or feeling very
sleepy
when watching TV, driving, during a meeting, if you have irregular
heatbeats, kicking while sleeping, some one has told you that you stop
breathing or make loud noises while sleeping, PLEASE go for a sleep
study.

Sleep apnea is most often diagnosed by the person and NOT the doctor.
It
can be fatal.

		<description>ROTFL

Patrick, I am a manager, I am supposed at least LOOK like I am awake! My
husband fell asleep during a meeting while sitting right next to the CEO! This
was his first day of work. Great move, of course he wasn't diagnosed until he
ran his car into a telephone pole while going 70 mph. I was lucky and was aware
of the problem and was treated earlier.

&#62; , find yourself falling asleep or feeling very sleepy
&#62;

You mean some people actually stay AWAKE during meetings??!!
