Hi Chera,
Do you live in PA or just work at the camp there? We lived there for a
little over 3 years, about 30 minutes from Center City Philadelphia. We
really loved it up there and miss it. Of course they closed the Navy base
and I think the Recruiting District there, but we still have many friends up
that way and go back and visit from time to time.

I live in Reading Pennsylvania, I am about 50 miles or so from Philadelphia.
Last month when I went to Phila for the National american Diabetes
Association they had a dinner party for us at the old ship yard. It was
really awesome! If you ever get up this way, you will have to let me know,
maybe we could meet for dinner or something like that. Have a great day!

Wow!! It is a small world isn’t it?! Are you involved with the ADA at all?
The reason that I am asking is because in November the Regional volunteer
community assembly is being held in DE, I think that it is in Willmington.
November 9 and 10.
My Endo and CDE/pump trainer are at Hershey Medical Center, which isn’t far
from Harrisburg. Ususally when I go to an appointment I hit the malls in
the Harrisburg area.

That would certainly be nice! We are hoping to get up there sometime during
the fall, so I’ll be sure to let you know of our plans.
