Pump training and Minimed & 508 Software
With the 508, you CAN bolus while a square is running, but of course you
cannot set another square or dual wave. Just a regular bolus and it won’t
cancel it out…… Also, YES, the 508 does have software, but it’s not
available to the public, only doctors have it as of now :O)

I also read somewhere that in order to get information off of the Minimed
pumps you would have to purchase a proprietary cradle to transfer the data
and it cost about $300! Although if they don’t have software for the public
it’s kind of a moot point anyway. It’s a shame though as I think it would be
a great asset to the user of the pump.
