Insulinpump supplies
I am a new pump user and need to order my supplies. Can you get
supplies anyother place than from minimed that would be more cost
effective? Thanks for your reply.

Mary, you might try giving National Diabetic Pharmacies a call (800-467-8546
or 888-306-7337). I don’t know about the cost effectiveness, but they are
very reliable, ship the next day, and carry everything you can even remotely
imagine for diabetics. Plus, they have many diabetics on the staff, so they
know where you’re coming from if you have any issues or concerns.

You should be able to find a local supplier, I’m in Tampa, Florida and use
Elite Home Medical. I have insurance that covers my supplies and the plus
for me is that they "stick with the billing" they take responsibility for the
whole process. I give the info and I check in with them sometimes, but they
really stay on top of it, I did not have that with MiniMed when I used them.
Anyway I and not sure the cost without insurance is any different, but the
service is more than likely going to be better.
