<< Howdy all I am all set to go in for the angiogram tomorrow. They answered
all my questions and I am ok with it but I do have a big question.

Why would I have narrowing of my arteries if I have NEVER had high
cholesterol? Just got my blood tests back and they are all FINE!!! I
though it was the build up that caused the narrowing, if I don't have high
cholesterol then what is going on?

Does anyone know the details of what builds up in the arteries?

Catie

Yeppers I sure did get a second opinion. Everyone feels with my family history
and 30 years of diabetes this is the best way to go. My father had 14 heart
attacks before he died and my mother had congestive heart failure, my brothers
both had heart disease as did all my grandparents and sister. So all in all
this is the best idea.

Catie,
Did you do a medline search? Perhaps that's where you'll find your answer and
you can inform us - unless someone knows the answer. (~_^) Keep us updated.
Jan
BTW, did you get a second opinion?
