pizza and bolusing…….

for me it seems like any square over 1/2 hour doesnt even work for me!!!!!
maybe cuz it’s small amounts? how much do you square, all of it? what i do
is bolus for the carbs when i eat and then an hour later i up my basal to a
temp basal of 50% higher (from .8 to 1.2) for 4-6 hours……. sometimes it
still goes high, but at least my correction shot brings me right down,
whereas if i dont do the temp basal nothing seems to touch my sugars and i’m
high all the way to the next morning………

    Pizza is extremely difficult for most diabetics. I had it down to a
    science for myself and would never go high by using a similar formula
    but I found a new Pizza Place and they most use more sugar in the
    sauce because my sugars are extremely high after eating it. I need to
    make an adjustment cause the Pizza is to good.
