I was just given about a two hour or so talk and they set me up with insulin.
Talked to the educator daily as we set the basals. I think I got the short end
of the stick. I was so scared for so long that I was going to do things wrong.

Chris,
How are things going for you after a couple of days on Saline - changes, etc.?

So far I’ve been fine, I’ve set boluses each meal and just getting
the hang of it. The biggest problem is sleeping with it, I don’t know
what to do with it. I’m afraid if I leave it on my bed I will role
onto it and program a bolus or brake it. And if I leave it on my
night stand it might fall and tug on the cord. Have any suggestions?
Anyways, I’ll have to get used to it. The first day it kind of felt
stange in me, but now I don’t realy notice it, I notice the cord in
the way more than anything. I rather have a cord in the way than
complictions later though.
