caffeine-free stuff

Funny story:
I requested caffeine-free iced tea in a restaurant. The waitress said they
didn’t have it. I asked if they had caffeine-free hot tea? Yes. I said, "If
you have caffeine-free hot tea, you can make c.f. iced tea." She brought me a
glass of ice water and a tea bag! I said, "This won’t work. Forget it."

Unfortunately, nowdays most restaurants do not actually brew hot tea. They
bring you a cup of hot water and a teabag. I suppose the waitress didn’t know
what else to do.
