Update
Hi everyone. OK here is my story of my illness. I was vomiting and somewhat
dizzy for 6 days. I knew it wasnt the flu (no other symptoms). I ended up
in the ER cause I felt so bad. I was in there for hours and they didnt know
what was wrong. I had bloodwork for all sorts of things, even a head CT
everything came back normal. Sooooo the next day I went to my Endo. He is a
wonderful, kind, caring man. I love him. My stomache problem was my
gastropheresis and GERD giving me trouble. Im now taking my Reglan 4 times
per day ilo (in lieu of) 3 times. He gave me a different medicine for my
reflux disease. This has helped alot. I’m going to try and make an
appointment w/my ENT for the GERD.
As far as the wierd dizziness he seems to think it is a withdrawal symptom
from coming off of my Zoloft (anti depression med). I’m still having a few
wierd feelings w/my head but it is getting better. So thats what happened
basically. I was sick for a little over a week. Sorry to worry you all so
much. I was unable to get on line. All I could do was lie in bed and sleep.
Thank you Jan for taking me off mail for a while. I also appreciate the
fact that you tried to call my church. That was sweet. Here is my phone
number for you. I dont care if its in the archives. Chrissy Ryan

thing like this happen, but just in case there it is. I love you all.

OK. I’ve been caught sneaking back in!
After 2 weeks of pumping saline, I finally got to put the "real thing" in
yesterday morning! So far it’s going pretty good. My basal has already been
cut
a little bit due to staying low all night. I think I’m going to switch the
glucose tabs on my night stand with some juice boxes. It’s tough choking down
very many of those things in the middle of the night.
There is a lot of work to be done over the next several weeks in order to get
everything fine tuned. I’m looking forward to getting it done.
I learned last night while talking to my mom that my 28 year old cousin was just
dx’d with Type 1 on Monday. I’m going to send him some DM web pages and info to
help him get started learning about his new way of life.
