Hi Tom: best thing to do would be to trial them both….contact the web
sites…there are 800 #s…..if you need them, just let us know and I know
most of us will look them up for you.
Or, you can contact Insulin Infusion Specialists since they rep both
companies. Might be able to trial them thru them….1800 838-7867.

I have a MM 508, I started on it on July of 2000. I have been a pump user
for 19 yrs. I had previously been on the 506 for 9 yrs. I am legally blind
and have found the vibrator and remote control a life saver. I am also
severely heaing impaired, thus I had not been able to be independent with
my pump usage for some time. The vibration and remote has changed that. I
know nothing of the Destronic, so they may have similar features.

Can you get loaners from both pump companies to see which meets your needs the
best? Hearing from us as to what WE like might not suit you.
