<description>My name for my Minimed pump is Refurbished because it has failed 3 times and
each time it had to be replaced with a refurbished one. =)

<description>My family named my pump, or maybe they were giving me a nickname...they call
it &#34;Mr. Roboto&#34;, because I beep all of the time.</description>

		<description>bradley,
my pump doesn't actually have a name but i seem to continue to say beeper.I
hate to hear it beep when i'm on stop (i have disetronic) maybe that's
why.i know i can silence it but i feel i
might forget to start her a pumping again.
sharon

Bradley, that's a fun question! I'm surprised that I _didn't_ make up a
name for my pump, since naming characters is probably my favorite part
of writing romance novels.

Unless maybe I use up all my naming energy there...

Anyway, Buddy sounds like a winner!

<description>I call my pump &#34;the device&#34; or &#34;the gadget&#34;. If you want to really know why,
ask, but I'll give you a hint. It's an historical reference to a scientific
invention that changed the world, and that's what the scientist referred to
it as. Cudos to the person who can guess what it is!
