Had a 5.7 HA1C tonight, best ever….I can afford to be a bit compulsive about
this test, since I am the guy who runs them….been checking monthly since pump
therapy initiated.

Actually, means I know a lot more about the variability of laboratory
testing…and about how much faith to put in a single #…still, an
improving trend is good. If I went by the chart we print out with our
patients HA1C’s my 5.7 would correllate to an average BG of about
110….based on my meters averages I run considerably higher (closer to
140). Alas, we are beyond normality….
