508 on belt
>I am not happy with the case and belt clip that came with the MiniMed 508.
Bart, when I wear it on my belt I don’t use the case — in fact, I hadn’t
realized there WAS a case! But the clip that fastens onto the back of
the 508 fits over a belt okay…although mine are fabric, and maybe it’s
not so good with men’s belts.
Good luck on your official start-up!

I am not happy with the case and belt clip that came with the MiniMed
508.>>>>>>>>>>>>
I hate the blet clip and the case myself, the easiet solution is to just
stick it in your pocket. I snaped the belt clip one day while I was getting
into my car.

I use the belt clip, except I clip it to my belt loop rather than my belt. That
way the pump sits horizontally (long dimension parallel to beltline). I can read
the screen and the pump fits looser so it doesn’t dig into my love handles.

So far, Carrying it in my pocket seems best, Though it is a bit troublesome
with jeans. I clip the remote to my pocket so I do will not have to keep
taking it out, etc. Trouble will be when school starts. I am a band
director and have many many many keys, tuners that I keep in my pocket.
Being that I have to cut 2 or 3 inches of the slacks I buy, I amy check to
see if I can use that extra material to make a custom pocket for the slacks.
Just a side note,
Last week, my trainer told me it would be okay to try a couple of insertions
on my own with the help of the video before we meet. I was amazed, neither
caused any pain. I was really nervous, but that seems to be fading.
