But I have passed all the tests so far through my nephrologist (around Jan-Mar). I do not want to go on dialysis - that's starts around 10% and I'm below 23% function now. I'm on a support group list for kptx (kidney/pancreas transplant). An LRD is living donor related of which I have none. But an organ donor can save the lives of about 8 people. The like to keep the pancreas with one of the kidneys - but often do them separately. One person's kidneys go to two people. You only need one good one to live.
