tweaking and fasting are running between 76 and 121. How

I’ve just received the press release from Animas about their
new pump
the R-1000. Now it’s official, the pump has been approved
for use in
the US. The highlights of the 7 page press release are:.
Animas received 501(k) clearance from the FDA to market the
R1000
insulin pump on February 10, 2000. The pump will use
infusion sets
manufactured by Maersk and are interchangeable with the
Disetronic/MiniMed infusion sets.
They expect approval in the EU countries in late 2000.
They have entered a distribution agreement with Insulin
Infusion
Specialties to augment their direct sales force of 32
people.
