Captopril

Gail,
Your reply is interesting. That neph was quite upset because Captopril
*helped* NINETY-FIVE % of the people!! I don’t think he considered room for
ANYONE to have an adverse reaction. You are about the 5th person I’ve come
across since that time who cannot take it. It sounds pretty common to me. I
took DBI (the first BG-lowering pill) for about 16 years; Seldane for 20
years; Cyclamates for 16 years; Dyazide for 16 years. All taken off the
market because they were *bad*. I’m not going to die from diabetes - it will
be from what I take to *help* me. PTL when I was pg and 8 mos. of a.m.
sickness (’60-’61) I was NOT given Thalidomide!!!

You mentioned your cough to your dr. and in about 1 day it stopped. When I
stopped on Thurs. and saw him the following Mon., I told him I was soooo
much better. He said, "NO your NOT. You just THINK you are!" However, he is
someone’s son who is very proud of their son the doctor.
