Time to change the subject line

Sunday, December 7th, 2003

Come on, all you intelligent pump users, change the subject line when the
subject changes. I believe a week ago I wrote attn: Joan about a friend of a
friend. I received about 6 messages today with that same subject line and it has
NOTHING to do with attn: Joan.

Sorry for the gripe, but let’s use our brains.

Australian Wanting Information on The Pump

Friday, December 5th, 2003

Well, I haven’t posted a message in here for a long time!!
I’m thinking of you all often though…
I went for a check up today and my HbA1c was 9.0, but apart from that got the
all clear:)
I was just wondering if anyone knew when the pump was coming out to Australia? I
haven’t heard anything about it, and was just a little curious.

Jets Are Sold

I know you are saying what has this got to do with diabetes.
Robert Wood Johnson is the head of Johnson & Johnson has a 20 year old daughter
who is diabetic. He contributes quite a bit of money to diabetic research and
was talking about finding a cure for the diabetes on the news. Being in such a
high profile position he will be able to bring a lot of awareness to the
disease. We need all the help we can get to finding a cure.
There are also quite a few NFL Players who are diabetic, One of the players on
the Lions (James Jones) wives just had a kidney, pancreas transplant and it was
featured on thanksgiving Day on the Fox Pre Game show.
Public awareness is very important to finding a cure.
