Thanks to Hallie35… "Annie"
Dr. Frank Mayfield was touring Tewksbury Institute when, on his way out, he
accidentally collided with an elderly floor maid.

To cover the awkward moment Dr. Mayfield started asking questions, "How long
have you worked here?"

"I’ve worked here almost since the place opened," the maid replied.

"What can you tell me about the history of this place?" he asked.

"I don’t think I can tell you anything, but I could show you something."

With that, she took his hand and led him down to the basement under the
oldest section of the building. She pointed to one of what looked like

The ElfBowl and Frogpult Virus Hoax
There are hundreds of hoaxes that say avoid some person, file, or message
because they may deliver a virus (or trojan) and then say to forward the
warning. If you have been reading these pages, you should recognize anything
fitting this pattern as a hoax.
Although, the following should be obvious as a hoax, this hoax is being
circulated widely. Both ElfBowl and Frogpult are widely used games. We have seen
no instances where these programs are infected. It’s certainly possible that
eventually some joker will infect one of these programs and post it on some site
but it should still be safe to download these programs from the well-known
download sites (visit our links page for a link to Simtel). Here is the most
common version of this hoax:

The Royal Bank of Scotland have issued a
virus warning regarding 2 small games files

glucowatch

ASSOCIATED PRESS

GAITHERSBURG, Md., Dec. 6 Diabetics may soon get their first painless
way to measure blood sugar, as government advisers recommended approval Monday
of a wristwatch-like device to supplement but not completely replace
the painful finger-prick blood tests patients now endure.

THE GLUCOWATCH checks glucose levels every 20 minutes by sending tiny
electric currents through the skin. It sounds an alarm if patients blood sugar
hits dangerous levels, even while they sleep.
Advisers to the Food and Drug Administration voted unanimously that the
GlucoWatch should be approved for adult diabetics, saying it could offer a
tremendous benefit by measuring glucose far more often than blood tests can
today. But the advisers stressed the GlucoWatch is not perfect: It sometimes

If my forwarding this offends, sorry, but I’m tired of living this lifestyle
49 years and can’t imagine not helping raise a million bucks for research
of a cure by the click of a mouse. A cure may not affect me at this point,
but many, many *sweet* children out there may enjoy a normal life with one.

Hi,
I just found your group. Great idea! Anyways, I have
been having trouble keeping my sugars under control,
even on 4 or more shots a day, so I’m looking to
get a pump. I really want one before college starts
again in January. I am looking at a Mini-med. Any
advice on how to get a pump quickly and any tips for
new users?
Thanks,
