I guess that no R threw me!
My endo is 5 yrs. younger than I and he recently said he plans on kicking
the bucket at 85. I said, "You mean I’m going to have to find a new endo
when I’m 90!?!"
Gotcha.
I took DBI (pills to lower BG) while I was pg in 1960-61 because of the
increased amount of insulin and the fear that much would harm the baby. Drs.
said to continue that combo (insulin/pills) for 16 years. The it affected me
and ALSO DBI was taken off the market because no good for patients. I ate
cyclamates for 16-18 years until the sugar industry hollered. I took 2
Dyazide bp pills a day for 16 years until they decided they harmed
diabetics’ kidneys. I’m not going to die from diabetes (proved that in the
1950 coma). I’ll die from what I’m taking to improve my health.
