		<description>Hey, Jan..the ketchup is a pretty good analogy about making one feel sluggish
and tired or just plain exhausted..medical explanation is that lack of
insulin causes cells to be starved, the mitochondria (energy warehouses) do
not get fed and stop production (they go on strike).Until insulin is
provided,nothing gets done during the shut-down and all processes halt
(eventually stop completely with the end result of pushing up daisies)..thank
God for insulin. The blood doesn't actually thicken as we would think by the
way we feel..the only way one can thicken the blood is by increasing red cell
(or white cell or platelet) production such as in some leukemias...just
thought you'd like some ammunition in case the pot gets stirred up a bit
:)....how is your son recovering? ...you've been quiet about it so one can

sticky. The more sugar in a cup of water makes a thicker syrup. Same as with
blood.
