Good Idea for roll call…diabetic for 34 yrs since age 11..been on pump for
almost 5 yrs..gave up the idea of having kids at a very early age at the
advice of my Dr to protect my organs ( eyes and kidneys), been married for 23
yrs and have 2 dogs,studied in the medical field and worked for 21 yrs and
am petrified of complications of diabetes…Leslie

Hi! The important stuff:
Age: 39
Med.: Type 1, 20 years, Minimed 507 4 years
Status: 10 years to very supportive wife, Connie. Two girls, ages 12 and 8.
Challenges: I work for a large manufacturing facility that uses "rotating
shifts". We go from day work to night work every week. (I should mention
that because of 12 hour shifts we get a whole week off every month). Found
an doctor, whose got a pump(!), and now have good control. Thank goodness
for a pump and support team.
