My MiniMed 507C (and former 506) allowed me to dose 0.1u at any time. My
manual says:
Normal Bolus: 0.1-25 units in increments of 0.1 units
Audio Bolus: A blus can be programmed using audible tones in either 0.5 or
1.0 unit increments. ((that’s to hear the beep))
Basal Rate and Profiles: A different basal profile can be programmed every
30 minutes. Rates can be set from 0.0 to 35.0 units per hour in 0.1 unit
increments.
Temporary Basal Rates: A temporary basal rate profile can be set to increase
or decrease the current basal rate for a duration of 30 minutes to 24 hours.

My 507C allows the 0.1 increments also, but I was told by a Disetronic rep a
couple of years ago that their pump can bolus smaller amounts more frequently.
Because my total daily insulin needs are pretty small, I was interested in being
able to program minute amounts in certain circumstances. I have found that the
tenth unit increments are more than satisfactory although exercise sessions are
still a bit risky if I don’t disconnect entirely. Since I tend to exercise
pretty vigorously for fairly extended periods, the Disetronic sounded attractive
to me. Again, the MiniMed has been wonderful, so I am totally satisfied with
the entire pump experience.
