I think going on the pump was the best decision I ever made. I wasn't able to
choose which pump, as my insurance only offered MiniMed. There may be some
advantages to Disetronic (like being able to program smaller doses more
frequently), but I can't say that there is anything about my pump that I DON'T
like. If you are willing to really apply yourself and do a lot of testing for a
while, it will allow you freedom you haven't dreamed about since becoming
diabetic! I wish you the best of luck with whichever brand you choose...
