Mini Med vs Disetronic

I love the Disetronic pump because you get a backup pump so for the price of
one pump you get two. When I had Mini Med my pump needed to be serviced and
I had to return to shots while it was sent off and reparied. With the
Disetronic if something goes wrong I send in my pump and put my settings
into the new pump and put it on, my therapy is not interrupted. Another
reason is that the Disertronic pump is also waterproof and I don’t have to
take it off when I want to swim or even shower. I have had the Disetronic
pump going on three years now and I have not had one occlusion that whole
time, I had them several times with the Mini Med. Another advantage is that
Disetronic pumps are set at the manufacturers to peep at you every 24 months
telling you you need to send it in to have a technical inspection so that it
upholds the standards set up by the medical associations. I like that
comfort of knowing that even if my pump/s are ten years old every two years
they are technically sound.
I liked my Mini Med too and I would keep either one, I don’t ever want to go
back to shots.
