New to list
Hi,
My name is Jenny, I got word of this list from Gail, thanks Gail. I am an
insulin pump user. I have had a pump for five years. I started out with the
Mini Med which I had for two years. When I became pregnant I was switched to
the Disetronic pump, I love it. I have had diabetes for 24 for years. I am
the mother of six children, four living. I feel blessed to have my pump, it
has changed my life and given me a better quality in my opinion. I hope to
get to know some of you and just talk about every day diabetic happenings.

To you what is the advantage of the disetronic over the mini med?

Hi, I’m Pixie. I’ve been pumping insulin a month now. I just wanted
to say hi and let you know I was here. I’m a 27 yr old,Type II MODY
diabetic for over 16 years now and am now Insulin dependent. I am
preparing to have a child so I am pumping rather than using MDI to
control my diabetes and MDI wasn’t working well for me.

Welcome,
Pixie.
We’ve met before, but Hi, again. We’re a *small* but friendly group.
Sometimes nothing will come through for awhile, then a thread will start and
stir it up.

BTW - gang, did my first pump pic come in on this list? I was having server
problems and don’t recall (Hillary Syndrome).
